Psychological support in person & online

Supporting good mental health

According to the Mental Health Foundation:

‘Mental health is everyone’s business. We all have times when we feel down or stressed or frightened. Most of the time those feelings pass. But sometimes they develop into a more serious problem and that could happen to any one of us.’

One in six adults in Britain has a common mental disorder, with the most frequent being mixed anxiety and depression.

Here at MTS Psychological Health, I am passionate about your mental health. Don’t suffer in silence with mental health issues: let me help you enjoy life again.

MTS Psychological Health (MTS Psychotherapy) is verified with Psychology Today and listed in its counselling directory.

Psychotherapy options

Feeling overwhelmed during this difficult time and need personal psychological support?

I offer psychological support for mental health issues to reduce symptoms of recurrent anxiety and depression, often linked to recent and past trauma or to anti-depressant withdrawal.

If you’re feeling moody, sad, hopeless or tearful you might have a long standing mental health issue such as anxiety or depression.

Attending a course of psychoanalytic psychotherapy can support your mental health by managing your psychological distress and helping reduce symptoms, so you can enjoy life again.

If you think you’d benefit from short or long term psychotherapy, let’s chat.

My face-to-face consultations are available in person in Chester (Wednesday), Heswall (Thursday) and Mold (Friday and Saturday) and I also offer support online via Zoom.

To arrange a one-off therapeutic consultation, either in person or online via Zoom or a similar video app, please book a session or get in touch.

Mental health support at work

A person’s mental health can significantly impact their ability to perform well in their job.

About one in seven people experience mental health problems at work, while poor mental health accounts for 12.7% of all sickness absence days in the UK.

The Mental Health Foundation quotes research showing that: ‘Women in full-time employment are nearly twice as likely to have a common mental health problem as full-time employed men (19.8% vs 10.9%).’

Fortunately, small businesses and charities can directly access private mental health services for their staff through MTS Psychological Health, while I offer health professionals access to clinical supervision and personal therapy.

I am a recognised provider for: Aviva, Axa, Cigna, and WPA.
